About me

Hannah Roos

Hi, I’m Hannah!

I’m a married mum of two, living on the beautiful Kent coast with my little chocolate prince, Barney—my chocolate lab. I love spending time outdoors with him and keeping active as a family. If I’m not walking the dog, in the gym, or being "Mum’s Taxi," you’ll probably find me curled up on the sofa with a cuppa and a good book!

My journey into birth support

My passion for supporting parents started over a decade ago. I’ve spent 16 years working with children and families, including 10 years as a Maternity Support Worker, caring for new mums postnatally, and as a Neonatal Nursery Nurse in a Special Care Baby Unit, helping families with breastfeeding and newborn care.

During my time working on labour and postnatal wards, I saw firsthand how powerful the right support and knowledge can be during birth. That’s why I became a certified Hypnobirthing teacher, trained by Love Your Birth and registered with FEDANT. As a "Make Birth Better" champion, I’m passionate about empowering women to approach childbirth with confidence, calmness, and informed choices.

Why hypnobirthing?

I truly believe that knowledge is power. Hypnobirthing isn’t just about relaxation—it’s about understanding how birth works, making informed choices, and feeling calm and in control. Whether you’re planning a home birth, a hospital birth, or a caesarean, I’m here to guide you through the tools and techniques that will help you feel prepared and positive about your experience.
